 My work lives in the space where abstraction and figuration meet - it is precisely in that meeting that something true emerges. 
 

I always begin with a fully abstract piece: color, texture, collage. I look for balance, tension, a sense of life within the surface. And once that feels right, I begin to look - waiting for the figures to reveal themselves from within the abstraction. Not imposed, but discovered.

What I want to express is the dynamic of human relationships - the invisible bonds that connect us , across culture, language and time. Mother and child. Sisters. Friends. Strangers who recognize something in one another.

I am always looking for surprises - for myself and for the viewer. Emotion. Space to reflect. Details that only appear when you move close. Every work asks something different of me and gives back something different.
