2021Very thin layereing of acrylic paint which ultimately makes for a fairylike landscape.
Green Grass
2021This work is the first of the series LEAVES. A completely different direction, with softer colours, inspired by nature. With this style I get to play again and use all the techniques acquired over the years. Lots of layering, so the work get body and is full of surprises upon inspection. I work witj symbols, such as the Papyrus, with the Egyptians the symbol of prosperity, health and fortune and the Egyptian symbol for the earth. I also used an African symbol, the Mmusyidee, which also stands for prosperity, banishing adversity and wellbeing. Various matters refer to growth.
Touching me softly
2021Compared to my previous work, this work is still and empty. It flows, I want to stroke it, it feels warm and draws me in. It also gives space to let your mind wonder.
The air I breathe
2021The second work from the series " Pebbles". Air and water colors, tumbling around and over eachother. I think I will continue these works, but in a looser style.
The Stream will take us home
2021This ia a large work, 150x50cm and 3D. Sea, waves, sky, off course lots of blue and movement as well. I felt especially like movement. During the paintingprocess I listenend to The Sea by Haevn; that also inspired me to the title ;)
Abstract landscape
2021Organic flowing shapes and earthy colors in an abstract landscape. The different hues in 1 palette turn it into a whole, but you should actually see the work live and from up close to be able to appreciate the details. Although the colors are a tad darker, it still is a light painting in which there is a lot to discover.
